Darren Waller Traded To Giants For Third-Round Pick
2 years agoLas Vegas Raiders tight end Darren Waller is set to be traded to the New York Giants. The former Pro-Bowler has dealt with injury issues over the last two seasons, playing in just 20 of 34 possible games. Nonetheless, it's a huge upgrade from Daniel Bellinger at the tight end position for Daniel Jones. Waller posted two 90-catch, 1000-yard seasons for the Raiders in 2019 and 2020, so he'll look to get back to that Pro-Bowl form in New York. The Giants are sending a third-round pick (No. 100) in the 2023 NFL Draft for Waller's services. He should be viewed as a TE1, while Bellinger is bumped off the fantasy radar altogether.
