Darren Waller Searching For Breakout Game In Week 5
1 year agoNew York Giants tight end Darren Waller has recorded just three catches in three of his four games this season. His lone productive performance came in Week 2 when the Giants scored 31 points. In the other three games, they've totaled just 15 points. With a shaky offensive line and a lack of playmakers in the lineup, Daniel Jones and the offense have taken a massive step back. Waller is being forced near the line to help protect his quarterback and therefore isn't having as many plays designed for him. The Giants will need to score early and often to keep up with Miami in Week 5 and the matchup against a weak defense offers opportunities for New York to actually find the endzone. Waller is still ranked as a starting tight end in all formats because of the upside he offers.
