Darren Waller A Low-End TE1 In Week 5
5 years agoOakland Raiders tight end Darren Waller should once again prove to be matchup-proof in this week's international tilt versus the Bears. The 6'6" Georgia Tech product has dominated targets from quarterback Derek Carr this season, causing mismatches all over the field against defenders through the team's first four games. Waller's team-leading 33 receptions is nearly double the amount of Tyrell Williams' 17 catches, and he's also averaging 80 yards per game which is good enough for third-best at the position. Despite an unfavorable matchup, Waller will see plenty of pass attempts come his way this week as he looks to snap his current touchdown drought. Lock the 26-year-old into all lineups as he'll continue to keep up his pace as one of the most consistent tight ends in the league.
