Darren O'Day's Rehab Moved To Triple-A
2 years agoThe Atlanta Braves moved relief pitcher Darren O'Day's (calf) minor league rehab assignment from High-A Rome to Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday. O'Day struck out a batter in a scoreless inning of work for Rome last Friday. The 39-year-old right-hander might only need a few more rehab outings before he's activated from the 15-day injured list. O'Day landed on the injured list on July 13 with a left calf strain. Before the injury, he was sporting a 4.15 ERA, a 1.34 WHIP and a 26:10 K:BB in 21 2/3 relief innings for the Braves. The veteran side-armer isn't of any real value to fantasy managers.
