Darren O'Day Back From The Injured List
3 years agoThe New York Yankees activated relief pitcher Darren O'Day (shoulder) from the 10-day injured list on Tuesday and optioned right-hander Brooks Kriske to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in a corresponding move. O'Day is return to return after throwing three scoreless innings with six strikeouts on his rehab assignment at Triple-A. The veteran right-hander has been out since late April with a right rotator cuff strain, but he'll return to provide some help to New York's bullpen. The 38-year-old will only be fantasy relevant in deep saves/holds leagues. O'Day has a 3.00 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 9/2 K/BB in nine innings over 10 relief outings for the Bronx Bombers this year.
