Darrell Bevell Believed To Be Front-Runner For Raiders Offensive-Coordinator Job
1 day agoAccording to Tashan Reed and Vic Tafur of The Athletic, Miami Dolphins quarterbacks coach Darrell Bevell is believed to be the front-runner for the Las Vegas Raiders' offensive-coordinator job, according to a league source. The Raiders aren't known to have had any interviews or requested any interviews for the offensive-coordinator role, but other coaches will be considered. It's an important role for the Raiders offense moving forward, as new head coach Pete Carroll will not call offensive plays. Carroll's sons Brennan and Nate could also be additions to the offensive coaching staff in 2025. Former Raiders and Seattle Seahawks coach Tom Cable is a candidate to become the offensive-line coach. Greg Olson, who was the Raiders' OC from 2013-14 and again in 2018-21, is another potential offensive assistant to keep an eye on in Vegas. UPDATE: The Raiders interviewed Bevell for the OC job on Tuesday.
