2 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Darnell Mooney (ankle) reported he expects to be ready for the start of the 2023 campaign. The 25-year-old had a breakout season in 2021, amassing 81 catches for 1,055 yards and five total touchdowns. However, he took a step backward last season by compiling just 40 receptions for 493 yards and two scores. Even worse, he was limited to only 12 games before fracturing his ankle, which resulted in surgery. Although Chicago added DJ Moore, Mooney may benefit.
