1 year agoAtlanta Braves right-hander Darius Vines will make his Major League debut on Wednesday when he faces Kyle Freeland and the Colorado Rockies, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports. The 25-year-old was recently promoted to the big leagues after pitching to a 2.86 ERA with 25 punchouts and 11 walks over 28 1/3 innings at Triple-A. Vines is the Braves No. 10 prospect, according to MLB Pipeline, but fantasy managers should leave him on the waiver wire for now. It's unclear how many starts the former seventh-round pick will get, as he could move to the bullpen following Wednesday's contest.--Spencer Seguin
