Darius Slayton Records Only 42 Receiving Yards In Week 14 Loss
2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton caught only two of his three targets for 42 yards in Sunday's 48-22 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The former fifth-round pick entered Sunday's matchup with the Eagles having posted 58-plus receiving yards in six straight games for the Giants. So even though New York was in a hole early in Week 14, it was disappointing to see the fourth-year wideout get only three targets, which was tied for the fourth-most on the team. Slayton will look to put Sunday's performance behind him ahead of a Week 15 bout with the Washington Commanders, a team he caught six passes for 90 yards against in Week 13.
