Darius Slayton Leads Giants With 79 Receiving Yards In Week 5
2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton brought in six of his seven targets in Sunday's win over the Green Bay Packers for a team-high 79 yards. Amid all of the injuries at wide receiver that the Giants have, the former fifth-round pick saw a season-high usage in London to help New York improve to 4-1 on the season. Entering Week 5, the Auburn product had only one reception for 11 yards on the season, which came in Week 4. Kadarius Toney, Kenny Golladay, and Wan'Dale Robinson were all sidelined for the Giants on Sunday, so it remains to be seen what Slayton's role is in the offense when the team is fully healthy. The 25-year-old wideout could be a name to watch if New York is shorthanded at wide receiver again in Week 6.
