Darius Slayton Leads Giants With 63 Receiving Yards
2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton hauled in three of his six targets for a team-high 63 receiving yards in the 28-20 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. With Wan'Dale Robinson placed on season-ending injured reserve, Slayton returned to being the No. 1 option for Daniel Jones in the passing game. The Auburn product made a fantastic 44-yard catch in the second quarter to set up Saquon Barkley for a rushing touchdown. The Giants were throwing it down the field more often against the Cowboys, and if Jones continues to trust Slayton more, he could be a solid WR3/flex option for the rest of the season.
