Darius Slayton Emerging As Deep Threat
5 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton has become the ultimate big-play option with Daniel Jones under center after the rookie wide receiver caught two passes for 50 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday against the Lions. However, being a deep-play threat on the Giants hasn't led to consistent success, and Sterling Shepard (concussion) is coming back next week, which should cut into his targets as an outside receiver. Slayton has shown enough as a deep threat that he might still be playable as a DFS option in the right matchup, but in season-long leagues, you should look to trade him now unless you’re in a really deep league.
