11 months agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton leads the team in receiving yards this season and now draws the best matchup for wide receivers in fantasy football, the Philadelphia Eagles. That would imply the veteran is a smash play, but there are more factors involved. When including tight ends into the equation, Slayton's 512 yards ranks 69th in the NFL, behind guys like Jonnu Smith and Tyler Conklin. His total is low due to inconsistent quarterback play in New York. In his last time out against a positive matchup (Week 11 at Washington), Slayton logged 82 yards and a touchdown. It's not out of the realm of possibilities this week, and he's the most trustworthy receiver on the Giants, but Slayton should not be depended upon in the fantasy playoffs.--Andrew Ball - RotoBaller
