Darius Slayton Dealing With Foot/Ankle Injury
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (ankle, foot) is dealing with foot/ankle injuries and will be evaluated on Monday. He had his ankle taped in the first half of Sunday's preseason 22-20 loss to the New England Patriots and did not return. Giants head coach Joe Judge expressed optimism that it is a minor injury for Slayton. The 24-year-old caught one pass for seven yards before leaving. The severity of his injury is unknown at this time, and he's considered day-to-day. Fantasy managers should have a better timeline for Slayton after Monday's evaluation. Sterling Shepard and Kadarius Toney would see an uptick in snaps if Slayton were to miss any games.
