Darius Slayton Could See Expanded Role In Week 6
2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton could see an expanded role in Week 6 versus the Baltimore Ravens. The former fifth-round pick recorded a season-high six receptions for 79 yards on seven targets in Week 5 versus the Green Bay Packers. With the lack of wide receiver options for the Giants, Slayton saw over 50 percent of the snaps for the second straight week and he should be busy again with Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney, and Wan'Dale Robinson all dealing with injuries. Starting Slayton is a risky endeavor in Week 6, but the Giants could be playing from behind against the Ravens, who have allowed the most passing yards in the NFL. That being said, it might be best to wait and see how he performs in Week 6 before considering him moving forward.
