Darius Slayton Catches Just One Pass In Playoff Loss
2 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton caught only one of his five targets for four yards in Saturday's lopsided loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. After catching four passes for 88 yards in last week's win over the Minnesota Vikings, the former fifth-round pick was ineffective against the Eagles. Even though Daniel Jones and Slayton weren't on the same page all game, he received the second-most targets on the Giants on Saturday. Following a year where he emerged as a solid vertical threat in the offense, it remains to be seen if the 26-year-old wideout returns to the Giants in 2023 as he is an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
