Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland (neck) is questionable for Friday's matchup against the Detroit Pistons. Garland missed four games at the start of the season with a hamstring issue. However, he's now battling a neck strain, which could keep him off the floor for a second consecutive contest. With Donovan Mitchell (hamstring) also questionable, the team will need someone to run things at the one spot if those guys are ruled out. As a result, Caris LeVert could see a significant bump in usage and production on Friday night, with rookie Craig Porter Jr. potentially getting more involved. At the same time, Evan Mobley, Max Strus, and Georges Niang could see additional opportunities on the offensive end.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Darius Garland (toe) is considered questionable for Game 3 against the Indiana Pacers on Friday night. He is still nursing a toe injury, which has kept Garland sidelined for five games. Cleveland has used Sam Merrill and Ty Jerome in his spot in the starting lineup. Jerome got his big opportunity in Game 2 but failed miserably, finishing with two points on 1-for-14 shooting. This may prompt Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson to return to Merrill if Garland is not cleared to play on Friday. Merrill notched 14 points, four rebounds, and two steals on Tuesday, marking his best postseason performance by far.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Darius Garland (toe) has been downgraded from questionable to out for Tuesday's Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers. This marks his fourth consecutive absence due to a toe injury. Sam Merrill is likely to continue filling in for Garland in the starting unit, while Ty Jerome will have a more significant role in the rotation. Jerome has averaged 17.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 8.0 assists since Garland exited the lineup. Due to his absence, Donovan Mitchell also takes on even more responsibility on offense.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Darius Garland (toe) has been listed as questionable for Tuesday's Game 2 against the Indiana Pacers. He was out for the series opener on Sunday due to a toe sprain, missing a third consecutive contest. Now, Garland is in danger of missing another game, which would be a big blow for the Cavaliers, who dropped Game 1 on home court 121-112. Cavaliers head coach Kenny Atkinson has used Sam Merrill as Garland's replacement in the starting lineup, but he played only 18 minutes on Sunday, finishing with six points, four rebounds, and four assists. At the same time, Ty Jerome's workload increased to 29 minutes off the bench, and he made many DFS managers happy with a 21-point, eight-assist effort.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Cleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland (toe) won't play on Sunday against the Pacers. NBA TV's Jared Greenberg indicated Garland has been battling a left toe sprain, an injury that's been causing him a great deal of pain. Greenberg also added that had this injury occurred during the regular season, he likely would have been shut down for "a week to two weeks." But now it appears Donovan Mitchell will continue to handle most of the play making duties, at least for Game 1, with Ty Jerome and De'Andre Hunter both expected to benefit from a fantasy standpoint.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
