3 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Dany Jimenez continued his strong start to the 2022 season on Thursday. He closed out the team's 5-3 victory over the Detroit Tigers, retiring the three batters he faced in order while recording one strikeout along the way. Jimenez is now 6-for-6 on save opportunities this year and he has yet to allow an earned run across 13 innings. His stellar pitching has led to him becoming the clear top closer for the A's.
