2 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Dany Jimenez pitched yet another clean ninth inning in the team's 4-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels on Friday. He retired each of the three batters he faced, recording a strikeout and needing just 12 pitches to get through the inning. Jimenez is now a perfect 8-for-8 in save opportunities on the year with a minuscule 0.55 ERA and a 0.92 WHIP. There's no reason to think the A's will turn to anyone else for save opportunities for now. Jimenez is the only A's reliever to earn a save since April 19.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
