Danton Heinen Set For First-Line Duty Saturday
2 years agoPittsburgh Penguins winger Danton Heinen will get a chance to log first-line minutes alongside Sidney Crosby and Rickard Rakell Saturday against Columbus. He will be replacing Jake Guentzel (upper body), who was injured in Thursday's 6-1 win over L.A. and hasn't been able to practice. There were some hopes of Guentzel possibly being able to play Saturday as he traveled with the team, but that won't be happening. Heinen has looked good so far this season, getting four points in as many outings. He's averaging 2.5 shots per game and there should be plenty of scoring opportunities coming his way whilst skating with Crosby.
