Dante Pettis Won't Play In Season Finale
6 years agoSan Francisco 49ers wide receiver Dante Pettis (knee) suffered an MCL injury in the Week 16 loss to the Bears. He will not require surgery, but Pettis won't play in Week 17 against the Rams. Pettis caught three of his five targets for 21 yards on Sunday, so he wasn't of much help to his fantasy owners before leaving the game. He'll finish his rookie season with 24 catches on 40 targets for 446 yards and five touchdowns. Pettis was the team's most reliable wideout down the stretch and should have a much bigger role in 2019. With Pettis out next week, Marquise Goodwin and Kendrick Bourne should be the main wideouts alongside tight end George Kittle.
