2 years agoAccording to a tweet from The New York Post's Jon Heyman on Sunday afternoon, shortstop Dansby Swanson is reportedly a "possibility for the Dodgers." Heyman tweeted: "Star free agent SS Dansby Swanson appears to be possibility for the Dodgers, where he could reunite with Freddie Freeman. Swanson, who married USWNT/Chicago Red Stars star Mallory Pugh Saturday, also has drawn interest from Cubs/others. Incumbent Braves remain stealthy or quiet." Swanson enjoyed a breakout at the plate in 2022, hitting .277 with a .329 on-base percentage, 25 home runs, and 18 stolen bases in 696 plate appearances for Atlanta.
