Dansby Swanson Continues Slump In Doubleheader Wednesday
4 years agoAtlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson continued his early season slump on Wednesday, as he went 1-for-7 with one run and four strikeouts in both games of the doubleheader with Washington. Swanson is now 3-for-21 with one home run and nine strikeouts through six games, and he has recorded at least one strikeout in each game. This slump has come out of nowhere for Swanson, who slashed .308/.386/.487 with one home run and a 10:5 K:BB ratio in 17 games during Spring Training. He's still one of the top fantasy shortstops, but managers might want to consider tossing someone else into their lineup for a couple games until Swanson can find his groove again.
