Dansby Swanson Batting .314 Over Past 15 Games
6 years agoAtlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson was 2-for-3 with a solo homer on Saturday night against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Swanson has definitely rediscovered the pop in his bat as six of his 14 home runs this season have come in his past 18 games. The former first-overall pick is unquestionably having the best season of his career, but that really isn't saying much considering he is still only batting .246 to go along with the aforementioned 14 homers, six stolen bases, and 55 RBI. Aside from those in the deepest of leagues, Swanson can probably be left on the waiver wire as he still routinely bats at the bottom of the Braves order.
