7 years agoAtlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson, who has been on the disabled list dealing with wrist inflammation, is aiming to return this weekend, potentially on Friday. The Braves shortstop had been hitting .289 through 28 games before going down and will look to continue his improvements from last season. While Swanson was slumping somewhat prior to hitting the DL, the 24-year-old is worth a pickup in deeper leagues and for those desperate for shortstop depth, as the Braves currently have the No. 1 scoring offense in the National League.--Brendan Bilodeau
