3 years agoThe Toronto Blue Jays placed catcher Danny Jansen (side) on the 10-day injured list on Monday. The 26-year-old is dealing with left side soreness. The team selected the contract of fellow catcher Tyler Heineman and he will be part of the team's active roster for Monday night's game against the New York Yankees. Alejandro Kirk is getting the start behind the plate for Monday's game, but Heineman should see a few starts throughout the next week or so. We don't have word yet on how long the Blue Jays expect for Jansen to be sidelined, so make sure to stay tuned for updates.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
