1 year agoToronto Blue Jays backstop Danny Jansen (forearm) is absent from Tuesday's lineup to take on lefty Julio Urias and the Los Angeles Dodgers. It comes two days after the former prospect left Sunday's contest after a pitch hit his forearm. Jansen sat out Monday as well, and more info on the severity should be announced soon. The 28-year-old hasn't offered much in the batting average department, hitting .226, but has gone deep 12 times with 41 RBI across 63 games. With Jansen out, fantasy managers can expect Alejandro Kirk to keep getting most of the reps behind the plate. He's hitting .251 with a .661 OPS but owns a career .271/.355/.401 slash line with 27 bombs across 283 games.--Spencer Seguin
