Danny Duffy Posts Another Strong Outing
6 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Danny Duffy went six innings against Milwaukee on Wednesday while only allowing one earned run and striking out seven. Duffy was lifted before the seventh inning with a cramp, but after the game, he told reporters he was fine. Duffy has been a massive disappointment this season, as he's struggled to be playable through most of the year, but two good outings in a row is always enough to make people take notice. They should probably relax, though. Duffy depended on a 100 percent strand rate for both outings, and he's strung together two good starts in a row on two other occasions this year. He's quickly been shelled in the following start.
