Danilo Gallinari Sets Hawks Record With 10 Triples
4 years agoAtlanta Hawks forward Danilo Gallinari exploded for 38 points off the bench in Wednesday's win over Boston, hitting 10 triples in the process to break Steve Smith's franchise record for most made three-pointers in a single game. He shot an amazing 10-for-12 from downtown and 13-for-16 overall from the field. Gallinari also had six rebounds, two assists, and two steals in 33 minutes. The Italian forward has always been a great shooter, but we have seen very little from him since his move to Atlanta. On Wednesday, he got into double figures in scoring for only the seventh time this month. The Hawks are currently dealing with some injuries, so Gallinari will be an interesting guy to monitor. He has a revenge game against OKC next on the schedule.
