2 years agoDaniel Suarez was fast in practice and carried that speed into qualifying. Suarez's fastest lap in practice was 20.453 seconds. He managed to find his way into the front row with a 94.298 mph qualifying lap. He will start Sunday's NOCO 400 at Martinsville in second next to pole-sitter Ryan Preece. Suarez will look to turn his luck around at the "paperclip" track and improve on his average finish of 26th over the last six races. The Trackhouse Racing driver hopes to improve from his total speed low down force result of 17th at Richmond.--Eric DeWilde
