5 months agoAlthough Daniel Suarez seemed to fall into complacency after his early-season photo-finish win at Atlanta locked him into the playoffs--as he is having by far his slowest season in a competitive car with a speed percentile of 36.99--he's finally showed some speed again in recent weeks with his first top-10 qualifying run of the year at Sonoma followed by his first top-10 average running position at Iowa in a race where he ultimately finished 9th; both of his best driver ratings of the year came in the last three races. However, Suarez's 31st place qualifying run this weekend is his worst ever at Nashville, which seems to indicate he will again be lacking the speed of his three previous Trackhouse years when he finished no worse than 15th there.--Sean Wrona - RotoBaller
