2 years agoDaniel Suarez was asked how he feels about the change to the road course with no stage breaks ahead of the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix, and he commented that he is "looking forward to it." He emphasized that in the past, drivers were forced to race for a win or for stage points and this will change that mentality, as there will be no caution flag at the end of each stage. Suarez qualified fifth and will look to get his second victory of his NASCAR career. His first career victory came at the road course in Sonoma last season.--Eric DeWilde
