1 year agoHeading into Sunday's race at Pocono Raceway, Daniel Suarez finds himself just one spot outside of the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs. With just six races left in the regular season, he needs to separate himself from the pack and find that speed he has been missing in 2023. On Saturday afternoon, Suarez failed to do this. After posting the 18th best time in practice (53.926), Suarez followed this up by qualifying 17th, nearly mirroring his practice time (53.588). While his practice and qualifying numbers were consistent, they were average, a theme for Suarez this season.--Adam Erhardt - RotoBaller
