Daniel Suarez 2-for-2 With Top 10 Finishes On New Atlanta Track
2 years agoThe "new" Atlanta Motor Speedway was unveiled last season, which means the NASCAR Cup Series has only raced twice on the current track configuration. The good news for Daniel Suarez fans is that he finished inside the top 10 in both of those events, coming home 4th in the spring race before finishing 7th in the summer race at Atlanta in 2022. This weekend, Suarez has some work to do if he's going to finish up near the front again, as the #99 Chevrolet qualified 25th for Sunday's Ambetter Health 400 race. There's definitely optimism for Suarez, though, because he's started out the 2023 season with three top 10 results in the first four races, including a 7th-place finish in the season-opening Daytona 500 after starting 24th.
