4 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals pitcher Daniel Poncedeleon will get the start on Wednesday, taking the rotation spot of Miles Mikolas (arm) who is out for the season. Poncedeleon was great in Triple-A last season and pitched fairly well in 48 2/3 big league innings as well. He's not going to win any fantasy leagues, but makes for a decent depth option. That being said, the Cardinals have mentioned that they may look at "external options" for that particular rotation spot, so if Poncedeleon struggles, he may not have too long of a leash.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
