7 years agoWashington Nationals second baseman Daniel Murphy (knee) took batting practice on the field and also practiced fielding. He's still recovering from knee surgery and doesn't quite have a timetable for his return. Late April is an optimistic projection. He's a tremendous hitter when healthy, but the team won't rush him back with so many sluggers pulling the load just fine. Owners who want to unload him should wait until he starts rehabbing to attain maximum value.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
