2 years agoKansas City Royals left-hander Daniel Lynch (finger) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Omaha on Monday. The 25-year-old landed on the 15-day injured list this past Sunday due to a blister on the middle finger of his left hand. While Lynch has made some strides since his bumpy rookie year in 2021, he's still been mostly struggling to keep opposing offenses at bay. Across 15 starts this season, he's gone 3-7 with a 5.05 ERA and a 1.58 WHIP. He's increased his strikeout rate from just 17.7% last year to 22.3% this season.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
