4 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Daniel Lynch was hit hard by the Detroit Tigers in his third start of the year on Thursday. Lynch gave up seven hits and four runs (three earned) over 2 2/3 innings before being pulled. He recorded four strikeouts and didn't walk anyone. Lynch now has an ugly 15.75 ERA and 2.88 WHIP over the first three starts of his career. It's hard to imagine the Royals will be keeping Lynch in the rotation much longer if he continues to falter. His next start is scheduled for Wednesday against the Milwaukee Brewers.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
