Daniel Lynch Holds White Sox To One Run
3 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Daniel Lynch had his third straight solid outing against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday. He pitched five innings and allowed four hits, two walks and one earned run while striking out seven. He earned the win to improve to 2-3 on the year. Lynch notched a pair of quality starts over his previous two outings before this one. It's been a tale of two seasons so far for Lynch. He allowed 14 earned runs over his first eight innings this year, then was sent back down to Triple-A. Since his last call-up in late July, he has allowed just four earned runs over 19 innings. He's worth adding in all leagues of 12 teams or deeper in case he can keep this up. His next start will be on Tuesday against the New York Yankees.
