Daniel Lynch Holds Astros To One Run Over Five Innings
3 years agoKansas City Royals starting pitcher Daniel Lynch had a solid outing against the Houston Astros on Monday. He pitched five innings and allowed six hits, three walks and one earned run while striking out five. He earned the win to improve to 4-3 on the year. Lynch has been pitching extremely well for about a full month now. He's earned wins in three of his last four starts and he has a 2.49 ERA over that four-start stretch. The Royals are going with a six-man rotation, which limits his opportunities and his upside, but he's worth a look in AL-only leagues and deep leagues. His next start will be a favorable one against the Seattle Mariners on Sunday.
