Daniel Jones Returns To Limited Practice Thursday
3 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (concussion) was the first QB in every drill on Thursday and will be listed as limited on the final practice report. According to The Athletic's Dan Duggan, it looks like Jones will play in Week 6 against the Los Angeles Rams unless he has some sort of setback. The Giants were very positive about Jones' status on Wednesday and said that he was on track to suit up this weekend, and Thursday's development supports that narrative. Jones appears to passing through the league's concussion protocol with flying colors. It's good news for the Giants offense as a whole, but Jones will be no more than a low-end QB2 in superflex leagues in a bad matchup against LA and without running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) and wide receiver Kenny Golladay (knee), New York's two best offensive weapons.
