Daniel Jones Not Expected To Play
4 years agoNew York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones (hamstring) is not expected to play on Sunday against the Seahawks. Jones is still recovering from a hamstring injury he sustained while scrambling during last week's game against the Bengals, though the team is optimistic about his Week 14 status. However, this means that Colt McCoy will get the nod at starting quarterback for the Giants. McCoy was unimpressive in filling in for Jones last week, as he completed 6 of 10 passes for 31 yards and made several errant throws. While Seattle is the most favorable matchup in fantasy football for quarterbacks, McCoy should actively be avoided with fantasy playoff spots on the line, as he is far too risky. Sterling Shepard, Evan Engram, and Darius Slayton can all still be started, though the ceilings are not as high with McCoy throwing them passes.
