Daniel Hudson Signed By Dodgers
7 years agoFree-agent reliever Daniel Hudson has been signed by the Los Angeles Dodgers and sent to the minor leagues. The veteran journeyman last pitched with the Pirates last year and had 66 strikeouts in 61 2/3 innings. He gave up 30 earned runs, however, and walked 33 batters. He'll serve as veteran depth as the team continues to search for an adequate bridge to closer Kenley Jansen. Hudson can be safely ignored for now but is worth monitoring once he's called up.
