Daniel Hudson Goes From Halos To The Jays
6 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels released pitcher Daniel Hudson and he has quickly caught on with the Toronto Blue Jays. Manager Charlie Montoyo said on Monday that a deal for Hudson is done, and that he will be included on the Opening Day roster. Infielder Devon Travis (knee) was placed on the 60-day injured list to make room for Hudson on the 40-man roster. Hudson has bounced around a bit, pitching in the majors for three different organizations over the past three seasons. He posted a 3-2 record with a 4.11 ERA and 1.22 WHIP over 40 appearances in 46 innings with the Dodgers last season. He'll be a bullpen arm who can rack up occasional holds. He also had 44 strikeouts in 46 innings, so he helps those in deeper fantasy leagues which use true middle relievers.
