Daniel Hudson Could Return In Late April
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Daniel Hudson (knee) has been frustrated by how slowly he has recovered from an ACL tear he suffered last June, and he didn't appear in a Cactus League game this spring. Hudson will remain at the team's spring training facilities to continue his rehab when the 2023 regular season begins. There is no timetable for his return, but manager Dave Roberts suggested on Monday that late April "seems doable." The 36-year-old veteran reliever is worth stashing for those that are chasing saves, as he should be in contention to close for the Dodgers when he returns, alongside the likes of Evan Phillips, Alex Vesia, Brusdar Graterol and Caleb Ferguson.
