Daniel Hemric Gets Another Chance In NASCAR Cup Series
10 months agoAfter an extremely disappointing rookie campaign in the Cup Series back in 2019 with Richard Childress Racing, Daniel Hemric gets a new lease on life in NASCAR's top series this season, as he will take over the No. 31 Chevrolet for Kaulig Racing. Hemric posted an average finish of 22.5 during his rookie season in the Cup Series with just two top-10 finishes over the 36-race schedule. In this No. 31 Chevrolet last season, Justin Haley had six top-10 results with an average finish of 21.0. The motto at Kaulig Racing is "Trophy Hunting," but it's hard to imagine much of that happening this season, especially from the No. 31 team. Hemric has made 283 starts over NASCAR's top three series and has just one victory to show for his efforts.
