Daniel Castano Solid In His First Start Of The Year
4 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Daniel Castano was solid in his first start of the season on Friday. Facing the San Francisco Giants, Castano threw five innings, allowing one run on three hits and two walks. He managed to pitch well and mostly keep the Giants off the board despite not recording a single strikeout. Castano has never missed many bats, but he induces weak contact and has been good at avoiding big innings. He's a decent "real life" pitcher but likely shouldn't be rostered in most fantasy formats.
