Daniel Berger's Recent Play Has Been Disappointing
6 years agoDaniel Berger heads to Shinnecock Hills after a very disappointing missed cut at last week's FedEx St. Jude Classic. Berger was the two-time defending champion of the St. Jude, but missed the weekend cut by one shot. This is the latest in a string of underwhelming starts for Berger over the past month. He failed to crack the top 50 at both the Wells Fargo and The Players Championship. The 25-year-old will try to find his form this week. He has made the cut in two of his three career U.S. Open starts, but Berger will need to improve on his recent play if he wants to be a factor in the 2018 version of the major championship. He is a shaky DFS option this week.
