Daniel Berger Hopes Third Time Is The Charm At Travelers
6 years agoDaniel Berger played his best golf of the season at last week's U.S. Open and finished in a tie for sixth. The young American hopes to carry the momentum from that performance into this week's Travelers Championship. It will be Berger's third career start at TPC River Highlands, a course that he appears to be very fond of. He logged a tie for fifth in his 2016 Travelers debut and lost to Jordan Spieth in a playoff last year. Berger has been in a slump over the last few months, but appears to have rediscovered his game at Shinnecock Hills. This should bode well for the rising star as he heads to a course that he has performed well on in the past. He is a threat to win this week and should be given serious DFS consideration.
