Daniel Berger Disappoints At The Players Championship
7 years agoDaniel Berger had a disappointing week at The Players Championship, finishing in a tie for 57th. The young American has contended in many tournament in 2018 and hoped to continue his good play at TPC Sawgrass. Berger never recovered from an opening round 74 and finished at 4-under par for the tournament. Berger ranked first in the field in Strokes Gained: Approach The Green, but was dismal from the tee box, ranking 121st in Strokes Gained: Off The Tee. He will not be in action at the AT&T Byron Nelson, but look for Berger to bounce back the next time he tees it up.
